At least 5 events scheduled for 2016, some at new locations and others at some of our favourite areas.

To start, we kick off with a two part day and night event…

Falkirk – 27th Feb 2016

Starting the 2016 Season with something a little different, we try navigating in the dark!

Based at the Greenrig Car Park on the Callendar Estate, Falkirk on the 27th February. The event will be run in two 90 minutes halves, one in the day and the other after dusk. Not too hilly so a great event to enter with the kids.

BRAW East Lothian – 16th April 2016

Another event set up to be beginner and family friendly at the same time as providing plenty of options for the more experienced.

On 16th April we will be based at an HQ just 30 minutes away from Edinburgh. Back to the traditional score based event run over 3 hours, you get to explore the rolling countryside of East Lothian. With a mix of woods, open farmland and old railway tracks, plus a river or two, there’s plenty of variety to keep you interested.

Fife Foray – 14th May 2016

Continuing the theme of new venues we head over the bridge (hopefully!) to Fife.

Lochore Meadows hosts us where there will be a whole host of trails to explore.

The Chase – 25th May 2016

Part of the the UK’s Best Cycle Event – Tweedlove.

A shorter event than the standard SMBO events and a great one for both first timers and experienced riders.

Tweed – 18th June 2016

Arguably one of the best places to ride your bike in the UK so we’re coming back for another round of fun and games in the Tweed Valley.

Riders from previous events know that there’s a lot of single track waiting to be discovered and we’re not shy encouraging you onto the good stuff with some carefully position checkpoints.

Pentlands – 3rd September 2016

A new event organiser joins the team to run the Pentlands event this year.

Alison is talking about taking the successful map area of 2015 and extending it to be a 4 hour event, enabling us to take in more of the area to the south.

Mugdock – 2nd October 2016

Glasgow Mountain Bike Club take us west for a hunt around Mugdock Country Park and the surrounding area.

Falkirk On Fire – 5th Nov 2016

Finishing the 2016 Season the same way started it, but with much improved Fire 2.0!

Based at the Greenrig Car Park on the Callendar Estate, Falkirk on the 5th November. The event will be run in two 90 minutes halves, one in the day and the other after dusk. Not too hilly so a great event to enter with the kids.
